Educational Cloud and Image and Video Enriched Cloud Services


This workshop aims to present the most recent works in the area of educational cloud and image and video enriched services on educational cloud and to provide researchers with a forum that is complementary and coefficient to the PSIVT2017 main conference on image and video enriched services that are run on educational clouds and on educational cloud technology. Educational cloud is the growing platform technology for hosting the intelligent educational services that are enriched by visual technology such as image, video and virtual reality technologies. The importance of educational cloud and services on educational clouds has been universally recognized and many countries and organizations set up projects to fund the education cloud research. In order to facilitate innovative collaboration between education way and education cloud technologies, here we plan to organize a workshop of educational cloud and image and video enriched cloud services co-located with PSIVT 2017 main conference.

Jiehan Zhou, University of Oulu, senior research scientist, China-Finland IOT Alliance and China-Finland joint projects in charge. Research interests include Pervasive Service Computing, Adaptive Multimedia Delivery, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, 3D Internet, and Smart City.
